What to do Afterwards

The trip doesn’t end when you return home. On the contrary, now’s the time to assemble your memories before they fade. The name of that restaurant you’re SURE you’ll never forget will be gone before you know it.

Here’s a tip – take digital photos of a note of the date. Then take one of signs for the places you’re visiting. At least you have an electronic journal of your trip.

Or you can do it the old-fashioned way, with a notebook and pen (or quill and ink if you’re very old-fashioned). I keep a small journal in my bag and scribble in it regularly, at a minimum capturing what we did that day. Bonus tip – write down the starting and ending number of digital photos from that day too.
